09/12/2005: "Federal Response for Katrina"
"The Federal Response for Katrina was faster than Hugo and Andrew."
This caught my eye on Drudgereport.
"We do not yet have teleporter or replicator technology like you saw on 'Star Trek' in college between hookah hits and waiting to pick up your worthless communications degree while the grown-ups actually engaged in the recovery effort were studying engineering."
There is a website for our Mission down here if you would like to visit.

Yeah, I thought the recovery effort was pretty fast, but somehow it's never fast enough. At one time you waited for your food to be prepared, now if it's not ready in 1 minute and 30 seconds you're pissed. We're now a society that wants high quality materials and services at the drop of the hat. If you can't get it now, you want to blame someone, or see their manager.
