03/08/2006: "It's March!"

Another month is finally here. February wasn't that great for me. Lots of crazy things happened. The least of which was a massive flood in our basement. A water line broke and sent 2-3 inches of water throughout the entire basement. The carpet that covered half of the basement floor was actually floating on the water. The top would look dry until you stepped on it, and sent waves throughout the basement.

Many thousands of dollars worth of insurance money brought the basement almost completely back to normal.

I am definitely ready for some warm weather. The cold is getting a little old. Warm one day, then -20 the next. It wasn't really -20, but it felt like it last weekend because I was outside for most of it.

Things are looking up, now that I got the rough month of February out of the way. I hope to post some more on here soon. I know that I have said that before, so we will just have to wait and see.
