07/08/2006: "Vegas Baby!"

I was looking for the manual to my camera today. I have not been able to locate it yet. I did find a PDF file online that will help. I also found this review of my Finepix S7000 camera. I've had this camera for two years now, and I am just now starting to make better use of it. I hope to start a little photography hobby going and create a personal portfolio of some of my better shots. Just today I bought a wide angle and a telephoto lens for it.

All that will come later though. Sunday we leave for Vegas! There is a group of 8 of us all going together and staying at the Bellagio, and my sister and a couple of her friends are going and staying at another hotel (I can't remember which one.) Plus some people are randomly going to meet us out there.

I hope to take a lot of pictures, but I think I will mainly be carrying around my little little Vivitar Vivicam 3615. I've had this one for about 3 years, and does very well for a smaller travel camera. It had a few problems while I was in Bosnia, which prompted me to buy the Finepix S7000. I tinkered with it and found it still has life in it.

I had found a truck yesterday on eBay that I wanted to buy. It is a 1966 Ford F100. My bid was short of the reserve price, however. The bid that beat me didn't meet the reserve either, so it may not have sold. I was up late watching that auction.

So that is my update for now. I hope to fix the problem with my photos not showing in the next couple of weeks. Then I can update with Vegas pics.
