04/14/2007: "Dog Leg"

I've had the dog just about a month. He is doing great! Definitely the cutest dog. I found his birthday on his vet papers and it is the same as mine! How crazy is that!

We kept the name Tigger. We found out why he is named that. When he is really excited, either he is about to get a treat, or when I get home from work, he jumps up and down very quickly just like the Tigger everyone knows.

I injured myself a couple of weeks ago. Walked into a towing hitch on the back of a truck in the dark. Whacked my shin pretty good. I had a massive lump on my shin, but it didn't hurt as much after the first couple days so I almost forgot about it. A full week after I hit it, I had this massive bruise setting in. All behind my calf, down to where I wear my socks. A day or two later my foot started to swell at the end of the day. The bruise extended to my foot as well. Everyone told me to go to the doctor, which I did. It was a wasted trip because all he told me was it was bruised and it is just healing.

Tonight marks the end of the 2nd full week since I hit my leg. I think it is finally getting better. The lump is still there. The bruise and the swelling are there too. All have gotten a little better. The pain isn't so bad now either.

I think I might have some big updates soon. I will also try to get some more dog pictures, and maybe some pictures of my nasty leg.
