08/06/2007: "Word"

Wow my updates have been few and far between!

We got the truck running! Starts up like a champ now. I still don't have a master cylinder, so I am not driving it around yet. I did order one, and it is on the way. Would be great to have the truck running by fall!

I looked, and I don't think I mentioned this significant little event from this past winter. January 28th was my last day in the Army National Guard. I didn't want to make a big deal about it at the time, even though it is one. I spent 9 years in the Guard, and it has been quite a change not having that part of my life going on. I got to travel places and see things I would never have seen without it. You'll probably see a different profile picture on the side here soon.

My work schedule is kind of screwy for a while. Mornings two days a week, and nights two days a week. I did the nights thing for many months already, so I am not excited to have to do it again.

While not a Country music fan, I did go to Country Thunder and see Carrie Underwood perform. That was a few weeks ago. I did have a lot of fun, and it was totally worth getting to see Carrie perform. If anyone is familar with Chris Young, you'll recognize the picture I'll put up here in a few days. Stacey and I got to go backstage and get our picture taken with him after his performace. That was pretty cool too.
