Thursday, April 27, 2006Truck ShoppingI found a truck that I want to buy on eBay, but I am not going to post anything else about it. If I say too much, I'll end up not winning the auction. Work is going well. I just worked my 3, 10-hour days in a row and I got through it ok. I'm actually taking this Saturday off so I have a 4 day weekend. Gonna take some time to do some travelling.... Ok, I'm actually going up to Chicago to visit Stacey. I'm picking up Nicole to come with. Should be a good time. So I was drying my clothes the other day before work. I was running a little bit late. Suddenly the dryer stopped. It was way too early, so I knew something was wrong. My clothes were mostly dry, but it definitely had more time on it. I haven't been able to start it since. I also haven't had time to look at it to figure out what happend. I hope it hasn't died for good. I've got a few solid days off of work, so I should have time to take it apart and figure it out. I've had that dryer apart so many times since I got it. It was only 9 dollars, and it has worked for over a year, so I guess I shouldn't complain. posted @ 12:40 AM CDT [link] Saturday, April 22, 2006ChangeSo my schedule has changed. I work until 11 o'clock my time now on the days that I work, which are different now. I also work 10 hours shifts now, but that is ok because that gives me an extra day off every week. Tonight was my first 10 hour shift. It wasn't so bad. Just booked the flights and hotel tonight! We got 8 of us set up for the trip, and the last 2 should be booked tonight as well. Got a great deal from Expedia.com. "The human torch was denied a bank loan." I've missed updating a lot on here. It has been so long that I forget all that has happened. I'd been to Chicago a couple of times. Walgreens sent me to train on some new equipment. That was a good time. Speaking of Walgreens, work is going well. The house is doing fine. No more tragic floods. I've got Magnum P.I. season 3. I also built a new computer. Don't know what happened with the other one, but splurged on a new case, processor, motherboard, RAM. Oh, and I started mowing yesterday. Finished it this evening after work. The time change was cool because there is more daylight after work now, so I can do outdoor things after 6:30.
