Just click on "The Land of Alexander" link to the right and then select "Pictures and Video." posted @ 05:45 PM CDT [link] Sunday, July 23, 2006Journey/Def Leppard Rocked!Yesterday was concert night. Journey and Def Leppard put on an awesome performance! Journey sounded so good when then came out that I almost had a tear in my eye. Jeff Scott Soto recently took over lead vocals for the band since Steve Augeri is out with some throat thing. I was very impressed by Jeff's performance. Def Leppard put on a great show too, although at the end of the night, I think Journey is the only one that exceeded my expectations. I haven't talked about Vegas yet. I haven't exactly got my pictures out of my camera and started sorting them to post. I will soon. Vegas was a great trip. I sat for many hours at that roulette table, and had many rum and cokes!  We got to see Blue Man Group while we were there. That was a good performance. The rooms at the Bellagio were amazing! It was certainly worth every penny staying there. I didn't exactly make money while I was there, but I did win $100 back after having lost it. I was doing great at roulette and decided to cash out $100 to save and take back. I played with the remaining $100 or so and had a good time losing it. For now, gotta go to work. posted @ 11:32 AM CDT [link] Saturday, July 8, 2006Vegas Baby!I was looking for the manual to my camera today. I have not been able to locate it yet. I did find a PDF file online that will help. I also found this review of my Finepix S7000 camera. I've had this camera for two years now, and I am just now starting to make better use of it. I hope to start a little photography hobby going and create a personal portfolio of some of my better shots. Just today I bought a wide angle and a telephoto lens for it. All that will come later though. Sunday we leave for Vegas! There is a group of 8 of us all going together and staying at the Bellagio, and my sister and a couple of her friends are going and staying at another hotel (I can't remember which one.) Plus some people are randomly going to meet us out there. I hope to take a lot of pictures, but I think I will mainly be carrying around my little little Vivitar Vivicam 3615. I've had this one for about 3 years, and does very well for a smaller travel camera. It had a few problems while I was in Bosnia, which prompted me to buy the Finepix S7000. I tinkered with it and found it still has life in it. I had found a truck yesterday on eBay that I wanted to buy. It is a 1966 Ford F100. My bid was short of the reserve price, however. The bid that beat me didn't meet the reserve either, so it may not have sold. I was up late watching that auction. So that is my update for now. I hope to fix the problem with my photos not showing in the next couple of weeks. I forgot that I started moving my images to another folder, and I guess I didn't quite finish it. Might be a little too busy the next few days to fix it though.
