Busy Week
It says busy week, but I meant to say busy weekend. Now that I think about it though, I didn't do that much.
Friday we went on our own personal ghost rally. Clint, Lindsey, Danny, Julie, Derek, Emily and myself piled into a mini-van and drove around Indiana visiting places that were in this book that Derek had about Indiana ghost stories. It was fun. Only one semi-scary thing happened. We were at some place called spook-light hill and actually saw the lights. Then did the 100 step thing and Hell's Gate. Nothing really happened at either of those places, but it was a little creepy.
Saturday I was able to get my haircut. Then later Stacey called and invited me to a haunted house with her and some friends. We ended up going to tilton (instead of Rantoul like I was earlier promised) but it was still a good time. It was a decent night because I wasn't out all night like the previous night.
Today I changed the oil in my car. Got kinda dirty, but it felt good to do the maintenance on it.
Overall not a bad weekend. My back has been sore lately, and while it had been getting better everyday this past week, it got worse Saturday when I woke up. I sneezed while I was still laying in bed and the sneeze made me jerk that muscle. The pain was intense. I decided that trying to rest it more wasn't going to help. I've been actively stretching my back, and even doing to exercise and it actually feels pretty good right now.
The only thing I wanted to do this weekend and didn't was clean my room. Specifically, put my clean clothes away. The wrinkles that I will have to deal with now this week......

Random-ness
Despite my hair being the longest it has been in 2 years, I am skipping the haircut this weekend. I figure if I get it cut now, I will still need to get it cut again once more time before drill. I will wait another week, and go next Saturday.
I will be going to the grocery store today, because we really need food so I can start cooking again. Then I will be able to take leftovers to work for lunch.
The beer pong table got some use last night. Somehow we ran out of beer and had to switch to these wine coolers we found in the fridge in the basement. I still have a little cleanup to do down there for that.
My wireless internet has been acting a little wierd, so I thought I would try changing channels. I think the new channel is a little clearer because the basement computer picks up better now.
I did get this new Boston Acoustics Surround Sound for my computer the other day. I think there might be a problem with the cable. It is working for now, but maybe I will swap out cables and see how it works with a new one. The sub doesn't fit under my desk like the old one did. I had to set it on the left side of my desk.

Fantasy Football
I got the win this weekend, but barely. 99.75 - 98.41
It was the Colts game last night that made it close. Before that game started, my lead was 99 - 31 but team PimpSlap still have 3 players playing for the colts and the colts defense to go. As much as I wanted the colts to win, I was forced to hope the wouldn't do so well because I knew the implications to my fantasy team. The Colts had a rough start, but then ended up blowing the game wide open. The Rams had it rough the 2nd half.
My record is now 3-2. I thought Clint would pull out a win, but the worst team in the league seemed to be a little much for him to handle

Pictures Update Soon!
Very soon I should have an update to my pictures section. I took many pictures of the house, so you can have a virtual tour of the place.
Ok, I said tonight when I first posted this. That was earlier when I thought we would have time. The poker game took up most of the night, and left me no time to do other things, besides lose. Tomorrow I am busy, so it might be Saturday before I get them up.
I'll try to give a preview right now.

Ok, the preview is actually me after my first day at my new job.

UPDATE: Hot Girl Didn't Make Me Forget?
It seems it wasn't the girl that made me forget my PIN number, because it happened to me again at Walmart to a person that was not hot. Somehow I just can't remember that damn number.
Today was the first day in over a week that I was able to successfully use my debit card. I practiced on an ATM first and withdrew the money that I owed my mom from that day. Then I went to Walmart and bought a new computer desk. That went into the living room to hold my desktop computer. If you ever see alexanderl300 on IM that is my desktop computer.
Tomorrow is my last free day. I start work on Thursday finally. I gotta dig my business casual out and start wearing that.

Wow! Cops in action!
Check out this video sent to me from one of my cop friends.
It is wise to listen to police officers when they give you a direct order.

Hot Girl Made Me Forget
So there I was, at the checkout at Aldi buying food. Total was $78.00. I had deliberately gone to the line with the hot checkout girl.
I pull out my debit card and swipe it. It asked for my PIN. So I enter what I thought it was into the machine. I wasn't sure that was it, and I even suspected I hit two buttons at once. It came back as denied. Swiped again. PIN number entered. Denied. I try it a third time. Denied.
Luckily I had my backup plan. Normally that would have been the debit card for another checking account that I have. Unfortunately I didn't have it with me. I did have my mom with me, checking out at the next register. She bought my groceries for me and I walked away from the hot checkout girl, very embarrassed.
As I walked out of the store I realized my mistake..... wrong PIN number. I know it now. Too late to save face.

Busy Busy Busy
Crazy how fast the last few days have gone. There just aren't enough hours in a day to do everything I want.
I was hoping to take some pictures today around the house to share online, but both of my digital cameras need batteries. I have re-chargeable type around here somewhere packed in a box I haven't found yet. Guess it will have to wait.
1st problem is getting my queen-size bed to my room. The mattress barely fit, but the box spring (which doesn't bend) won't make it up the stairs. Tomorrow I am going to take it apart, and the re-assemble it in my room.
2nd problem is I can't find the key to the lock on the shed at my old place. I was going to mow the grass over there, but my mower is locked up. I have to find the key first, or cut the lock. If I cut it, I would like to be bringing that mower over here to the new place, so I might wait another day and hope I find the key.
I brought my fish over here today! I am very excited. I lowered the water level enough that my mom and I could carry the tank to the jeep. The jeep ride went well for him until we were about to pull in the driveway. I hit a bump and the water splashed everywhere! The shaking cause the water the cloud up and when we took the tank out, I couldn't see if there were any fish in it at all! I put enough water in to run the filter, and then a little while later added the rest of the water. It cleared up pretty quick. I'll try to vacuum again this week and re-arrange the plants.
The telephone was an issue. They switched it over to the new house, but it wasn't working. I called this afternoon and they said they would send someone out by the next day. She should have said, "I'm sending someone right now," because that is what happened. Someone came right out and fixed it!
I still have most of my kitchen stuff at the other house, and lots of junk in the basement. The washer and dryer will wait until Friday, when Clint comes home from work with his truck.
I need a new basketball, and new net to put on the rim. The old one got ripped to shreds (I tell people it was from the hurricane.)
The garage still has stuff in it (including the pool table) that needs moved in the house. I want to have the pool table set up in the basement by this weekend. The kitchen in the basement needs a little cleaning, and the kitchen on the 1st floor needs a couple parts. A new fitting for the dishwasher drain and a clicker thing to lite the stove.
There is more, but that is most of the big things.

Moving!
Moving? Yes I am. This is the last post that I write from this address. The cable gets moved tomorrow. I am picking up the 24' truck tomorrow to load as much as I can on to move to the new place.
I got home at a decent hour tonight, especially for having gone to the Hill Climb in Newport tonight. First time I had been to that even in about 7 years. Had a pretty good time there tonight. Saw a lot of people I hadn't seen in a long time. Kinda wish I had got to stay longer, but it was good that I got home because I have a lot to do tonight.
Next time you hear from me on my website, it will be from the new house!
