My Computers

I am at 2 desktop computers now.  If I remembered the specs off-hand I would describe them.  I do remember that I use LCD monitors now, and my newest one is a 19" X2gen. 

My laptop is a Sony VAIO.  It is definitely a sweet machine.  It came with 512 MB of RAM but I have upgraded that to 1GB.  It also has a 3.05 P4 running it.  It has a 15.4" widescreen with XBrite technology and I love it!  This is my first experience with Window XP Home Edition (instead of Professional) and so far it has been positive. 

I also have an old Compaq laptop that I have resurrected from a Gatorade accident.  It does well as an internet machine that sits in the living room.  I have a USR wireless card that I slipped in it and it works great. 

  My current network uses a Linksys BEFW11S4 802.11b Wireless router.  My laptop has built in wireless and works perfectly with this router.  The router is handling 3 wireless computers hooking up to the internet on it, and 3 computers plugged directly into it.  Both my desktop computers are directly connected, and Clint has a laptop that he plugs into it.
